Seeking Order Fulfillment Coordinator

Are you the kind of person who loves a tidy stockroom, a well-packed order, and a process that actually makes sense?

Ecovask is looking for an Order Fulfilment Coordinator to help keep our day-to-day running smoothly as we grow. This role is hands-on and perfect for someone who’s practical, organised, and proud of doing things properly.

This is a hands-on role in a small team, based in our modern Takapuna office. Things move quickly around here and priorities can change fast, so you’ll need to be flexible, calm, and the kind of person who just gets on with it.

A key part of this role is quality checking incoming stock and (for now) creating our retail packs - checking, folding, packaging, and making sure everything looks as good as it performs.

The role

You’ll be the engine room of our business, making sure orders go out accurately and on time, stock is managed well, and our workspace runs like clockwork. You’ll work closely with a small team and alongside our founder.

Core responsibilities

Pick, Pack & Dispatch

  • Pick and pack online and wholesale orders with speed and accuracy
  • Prepare courier consignments and ensure parcels are labelled correctly
  • Maintain a consistently high standard of presentation - our parcels should feel good to receive
Troubleshoot delivery issues and keep customers in the loop when needed
  • Handle customer queries with a human, can-do approach

Stock + quality control

  • Receive incoming stock, quality check it, and flag anything that’s not up to standard
  • Label, organise, and put stock away so it’s easy to find and quick to pick
  • Keep inventory accurate (counts, checks, fixing mismatches early)

Retail pack creation (finished goods)

  • Create retail-ready packs: checking, folding, packing finished goods neatly and consistently
  • Maintain packing standards so everything looks sharp and on-brand
  • Keep packaging supplies stocked and the workflow efficient

Inventory & Systems Support

  • Assist with stock movements and inventory tasks (we use Unleashed and Shopify)
  • Flag discrepancies early and help investigate and fix them
  • Support simple reporting and admin tasks related to fulfilment and stock

Keeping the wheels turning

  • Keep the workspace tidy, organised, and running smoothly
  • Spot what’s slowing us down and help improve the process as volume grows
  • Jump in across the business when required (small-team life)

A bit about you

You’re hands-on, detail-driven, and enjoy physical work that has a clear outcome. You take pride in accuracy and care, and you’re the person who notices when something’s out of place.

  • Are fast, careful, and consistent, accuracy matters here
  • Are physically fit and comfortable being on your feet and lifting cartons as needed
  • Are highly organised, reliable, and able to follow (and improve) processes
  • Have strong attention to detail, you catch mistakes before they leave the building
  • Stay calm under pressure and can handle busy periods with a steady approach
  • Are confident with software systems, or quick to learn (bonus if you’ve used Unleashed, Shopify or courier platforms)
  • Enjoy working closely with a small team and communicating clearly
  • Share our love for quality products, sustainability, and design-led thinking
  • Are happy to work alongside our office dog 🐾

REQUIRED

Relevant work experience is essential. Ideally;

  • eCommerce fulfilment
  • Dealing with courier portals and systems
  • Ability to quickly pick up new systems such as inventory and CRM tools

The Details

  • In-person role, based in Takapuna
  • Full-time
  • You must be legally able to work in NZ
  • Salary $55k-$60k
